Netflix Launches Screen-Craft Pathways Traineeship to Boost South Africa’s Film Industry Talent

Netflix has launched the Screen-Craft Pathways Traineeship Programme in South Africa to bridge the gap between education and industry experience in film and television. The 9–12 month initiative will place 30 entry-level creatives with Netflix-approved production partners, offering hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world exposure in production and post-production. Open to South Africans aged 18–35 with a film or TV qualification, the programme aims to build sustainable careers and strengthen the local screen industry. Applications close 14 November 2025.
